The 8th edition of Gran Fondo Baie Sainte-Marie will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2026

The Gran Fondo has grown to become a bucket list 'must-do' cycling and cultural experience! As the largest cycling event in Atlantic Canada, it hosted 992 cyclists in 2019. This year's edition will be a special occasion as the event returns to the recently renovated Clare Veterans Centre in Saulnierville!

Although a timed event, this is more of a self-paced FUN group event, rather than a race. Cyclists will ride on low traffic rolling inland roads along lakes and rivers and pass by towering churches along the panoramic coastal route that hugs beautiful Baie Sainte Marie.

Choose from three distances in 2026: 128 km Gran Fondo, 67 km Medio Fondo and 36 km Piccolo Fondo. Cyclists are encouraged to register early to participate in draws to win a free registration or prizes.

A scrumptious meal is included, and cyclists can choose between a vegetarian option, BBQ pork or the perennial favourite, fresh lobster in the shell!

$155 + processing fee + HST. Jersey available until July 19, 2026.
